Do you have a testimonial or a baby to add to our counter?  We'd love to hear from you.  If you have pictures to share, we'd love to post them!

I decided to add this page because I was getting notes from happy clients.  I also lurk on several PCOS listserves where the level of frustration is overwhelming.  I thought, if I shared this information with all of you, that you might walk away from your computer with some hope.

Keep in mind:

1.  If you tried what we recommended and it didn't work, our experience is that one or two simple tweaks to your plan is all it needs to turn things around.  That is when the services of one of our trained professionals can be well worth the investment.  Click here for a list of providers who will know how to help you.

2.  Our protocol is not hard, but it is specific.  And it is non-negotiable.  You can't take out one food or supplement and replace it with another.  We do see that those who follow it, exactly, are the most successful.  Those who try to negotiate, aren't so successful.  We can give you the tools, but you have to use them.

3.  Two of the most important characteristics of those who succeed with our program are persistence and consistency.  That means they follow the program every day, all of the time, and they follow it long enough to see it work.  If you try it for a week then quit, then try for another few days, then quit, you're not giving yourself a chance to succeed.  You need to commit to doing this, as it is prescribed, and to do it over an extended period of time.  Again, if you're having trouble with that, we're here to help.  Click here to find a coach who will gladly guide you through the process.

Acne A few months ago I decided to become part of Monika’s network of R.D.’s who are certified in her PCOS program. Even though I have been an R.D. for over 20 years, and specialize in insulin resistance, I had no idea of the depth and science of the wonderful lectures Monika put together, or what these lectures would impart to me. In addition to this series, I heard Monika and some other lecturers speak about “Brain and Body Health” at UCLA this past March.

As a result of that lecture I added some ground flax seed to my diet. I had been taking fish oil capsules for quite some time, but Monika mentioned that the liquid fish oil might be something to try, so I added 1 tsp. per day of liquid lemon fish oil to my regimen. Although I eat very healthy and what I call “clean” with no processed foods, I experienced some incredible results within 3 weeks. I’ve had migraine headaches during my periods for about 17 years with not much relief. Although I had no adolescent acne, I had quite a bit of adult/cystic acne for many years with no change from my diet, exercise, or even acupuncture.

Fertility I received a very important call from one of my patients this morning..."yes, Michele I am pregnant!". The words that I LOVE to hear and recently been hearing a lot!! This experience marks the sixth consecutive client of mine who has conceived 4-8 weeks after starting to work with me! What makes this especially exciting is that all of these women have been trying for at least over a year with one who was trying for 2 1/2 years with a failed IVF.

My client who was trying for over 2 1/2 years, tried IVF and was working with one of the best reproductive medicine clinics in the city. She presented to me with concern that she might have PCOS and a desire to lose weight. She was sophisticated and well educated on treatments for fertility, however after 2 1/2 years she found herself depressed, exhausted and believing that she would never conceive. She never had any expectation that she would leave my office with a plan to promote ovulation, but that day we did exactly that and at her 5-week visit, she shared in tears that she was PREGNANT!

I used to always joke and say that I was single handedly responsible for milk consumption going up in the Twin Cities, now I believe that I might be responsible for a baby boom!

Love that fish oil!  I am only about 6 weeks but am ecstatic --should I still take the oil?  Thank you so much I really appreciate your help.  I am sky high right now--from the non-ovulating mother of soon to be 3:)  Love those miracles --or in this case fish oil.

Migraine Headaches IT WORKED!! 2 weeks and even though both my ovaries are covered in cysts and my hormones are completely out of balance, I'm pregnant!!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK you!!!!!!! Really push this treatment, I think it works!!!!
Mood and energy So I have been taking 2 tablespoon of ground flaxseed - grind myself with my coffee grinder - and 1 tsp of lemon flav fishoil and I'm doing quite well! About a week in and I feel kind of refreshed..more alert...something is changing for the better! Thanks!!
Mood and energy I am happy to report since your visit, the dietary changes I have made on a small scale alone, along with the fish oil vitamins have successfully raised my Prep Tests by 8% after 2 days.

I must say that I have felt as if I've been in a cloud for the last 19 years and just in the past few weeks have been coming out of it.  While
I have had some accomplishments and successes, I am now more aware and alert as to what I may accomplish with my life.

Mood and energy I'm also curious since I did read that fish oils in large doses can also increase one's libido.  I think it's happening to me...
Mood and energy I'm feeling less tired. I am able to do light workouts and go for walks without feeling exhausted.
